Models C4 and C5 Controllers

The Models C4 & C5 controllers are directly controllable, locally programmable (100 step), remotely controllable, durable, reliable, and highly accurate temperature controllers for temperature chambers and thermal platforms. Built using the same form factor and familiar user interface as the Model CC-3 controller, the C4 is a totally redesigned controller that has a fast and reliable native GPIB interface as well as a fast RS-232 interface.

The Models C4 & C5 controllers support 2 Platinum RTD probes. Control can be based on either probe. Sigma's included proprietary T-Drive™ firmware uses both probes simultaneously to speed production and increase throughput.

 

 

Model C Controller

The Model C controller is our simplest to use controller. Simply set the temperature you want to 1/10th degree increments using the push button digital switches. Simple On/Off switch controls the temperature chamber or thermal platform to the temperature you set.

The Model C is standard equipment with most Sigma Systems temperature chambers and thermal platforms. It is simple, rugged, dependable, and accurate.

The Model C may also be controlled remotely via voltage or resistance programming.

 

 

PFS-1 Precision failsafe

The Model PFS-1 Precision failsafe is a simple screwdriver adjustable unit designed for applications where the failsafe setting does not get adjusted often. Standard temperature range is -100°C to +200°C. Other ranges available.
This is the perfect unit for production environments where settings are long term and operator access to the failsafe is not desired.

When the high or low limit set with the failsafe is exceeded, the main heating and cooling power relay is disengaged by the failsafe and the controller is notified of the event.

 

PFS-2 Precision failsafe

The Model PFS-2 Precision failsafe is a convenient, digital switch adjustable unit designed for easy and rapid setting of both high and low limits. Standard temperature range is -99°C to +199°C, with high temp model having a range of -99°C to +299°C.
This is the perfect unit for environments where the limits are changed often or where supervisory personnel need to be able to visually check settings.
