that are Sigma Quality is |
Shown are sixteen M42 chambers in "Double Stack" configuration
with optional C4 controllers, PFS-2 failsafes, bottom mounted under chambers.
This style of production facility is setup to handle smaller batches of DUTs
(Device Under Test)
Small batches can often be handled easily with trays and small carts.
Loading and unloading of chambers or thermal platforms can often be
done quickly by hand. Aisles and workspaces can be much smaller.
Working in small batches can take better advantage of operator time.
With large batches and equipment, operators tend to work very hard to
load and unload, then spend a lot of time waiting for a slow process to
complete.
With multiple small batches, operators work more quickly and easily.
While one batch is processing, the operator can be loading or unloading another.
Often one operator can attend many stations.
Smaller equipment is more flexible. If you need to run small batches, you won’t
need to heat or cool huge equipment. If your needs change, you can split up your
production capacity, or move the smaller equipment around easily to accommodate
your new needs. If you ever decide to sell the equipment, smaller equipment has
a
much higher resale value because it is more universally useful and easy to move
and handle.
