Solenoid Valves and Conversion Kits

Cryogenic Solenoid Valves are available for servicing and for converting a platform from one type of coolant to another. The only normal wear item in a Sigma Systems thermal platform is the cryogenic metering valve. Sigma uses specially constructed valves to tolerate the temperature of L-N2 and prevent dry ice build up from L-CO2. Valves are available loose, or as "built up" assemblies with the injector and insulation. Built up valves are excellent fast service items and can be used for conversion from one coolant to another. If valves are replaced without using built up assemblies, be sure to fully insulate the coolant path and valve to prevent unwanted and destructive moisture accumulation.
 

 

 

 

Filters

All Sigma Platforms are equipped with Filters to prevent contaminants from entering and occluding the cooling path. Over time the filter may become clogged cutting performance and a replacement filter will restore the original flow of coolant.
